The Five Second Stir Fry is a short film produced in collaboration with Coolbox Ltd. This film captures the process of making a delicious stir fry in just five seconds.
Tasked with creating organic sound effects. I used the food in my kitchen as props in the foley performances and personalised field recordings that underscore the project. Cutting vegetables, squishing pasta, bubbling water, but most excitingly… I was dropping peppers and onions from a ladder.
The short won the Food in Film Shorts category at the 2020 Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year competition.
